Redesigned Softail® Frame

The Sport Glide is the latest addition to the beloved Softail® family, which means you'll get all the classic designs and advantages of a Softail®. For those who aren't as familiar, these bikes work with a distinctive Softail® hidden monoshock rear suspension to provide cleaner lines and better handling overall. They also have an awesome look and superior performance. The Sport Glide adds on to this. Along with the rear suspension, you'll get a frame that's 34% stiffer and an overall lighter bike. This means you'll have a more responsive ride that you're more in control of, no matter what turns or roads you hit. And even though it's much lighter than previous Softail models, the high-performance suspension lets you carry all the additional cargo you'll need for long trips without compromising on the quality of your ride.

Milwaukee-Eight™ Engine

New year, new bike, new engine. Harley-Davidson is powering the Sport Glide with the all-new Milwaukee-Eight™ 107 engine, a machine packed with over a century of engineering and riding experience. You'll find this electronically fuel injected V-Twin engine packs massive torque to keep you on the road and responds faster from 0-60 mph and 60-80 mph. Plus, it's fully counterbalanced, so even though it sounds like the engine is shaking the bike like there's no tomorrow, the vibration is minimized. It's also built to be sleeker and easier to fit in the slimmer Sport Glide® frame.

Touring Ready

But what does all that power and performance mean for you? It means you can slip back and forth between commuting cruiser and touring bike as often as you need. The lighter frame makes for easier maneuvering when you're cruising, but it also makes for more agile handling when you're on longer trips. The mini-fairing also keeps the harsh interstate winds off your body and make you less exhausted at the end of the day. The low-vibration Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine creates a smoother ride from start to finish to help you relax. The Sport Glide also comes equipped with hard-side locking saddlebags to store the extra cargo you'll need for a longer trip. But if you're just looking to go into town and need to shed a few pounds to make cruising easier, the saddlebags and the mini-fairing are removable, so no matter what your day holds, the Sport Glide is ready to take you there.
